It is important to request free samples prior to ordering your custom blinds. Due to variances in color computer monitors and computer monitor settings, the colors that appear on your computer screen may not be exact. We guarantee your selection only if you have ordered samples prior to ordering. We cannot offer refunds and/or exchanges for any color-related issues unless sample swatches were received prior to ordering. Stained Basswood Wood Blinds: Stained products can vary due to the way the wood grain accepts the stain color. This is noticeable in the best wood furniture, cabinetry and flooring. Dye lots can vary as well and that is why we highly recommend that you purchase all your blinds at the same time so they are manufactured from the same dye lot. Woven Wood and Bamboo Wood Shades: This product is a natural product. Yarns and wood stains will vary per dye lot. It is recommended you request a swatch before ordering.

At BlindsCentral.com privacy of your personal information is of importance to us. BlindsCentral.com uses industry practices to protect the confidentiality of your personal information. Our online transactions utilize Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology that encrypts your credit card number and other personal information as it travels from your computer to our server. When placing your order, we need to know your name, mailing and shipping address, email address, phone number and credit card number with expiration date. This allows us to process and complete your order and notify you of your order status. All of this information is kept totally confidential and under no circumstances do we disclose any personal information outside of BlindsCentral.com.
We accept orders online through our website, telephone and faxed orders and also mailed orders, but will delay the processing of your order if your order is incomplete or incorrect. We will notify you quickly either by email or telephone if there will be a delay.
We accept Mastercard, VISA and American Express which will enable us to process your order immediately. We also accept money orders and cashiers checks in advance, which will be processed upon receipt. However, when a personal check is received the order will not be processed until the check clears through our bank. Your credit card is charged the full amount the day the order is placed, not when it is shipped.
We have picked the most popular blinds from our suppliers and offer them under the BlindsCentral.com label. By doing so, we are able to offer a vast and diverse selection of the latest window fashions at budget prices on the Web, including wooden and faux wood blinds, Roman shades, verticals and mini blinds. Available on our site are the Bali brands, one of the industry’s innovators and leaders in custom window blinds and shades.
All custom products are made to order and production begins the day the order is processed. We can change or cancel custom product orders if we are contacted within one business day (Monday through Friday) from the date submitted. Custom products that are changed or cancelled after one business day will incur additional charges. Please be advised that “any” order processed by Blind Central and then cancelled by ”the customer” will incur a 5 % administration fee. We pay a fee to our credit card processing company and cannot recoup this expense. You will be credited back your order amount less the admin fee of 5 %. We have simplified measuring for blinds and shades. If you follow the measuring instructions on our website, an incorrect measurement is very unlikely. Remember, ”measure twice….order once.” Please view our measuring guide before measuring and ordering. You can call our toll-free number for any assistance or email us as soon as possible. Only changes or requests received by email, within 24 hours, will be made to your order. We cannot guarantee any changes made by phone. Blind Central needs to receive a email confirmation change order to make any changes to the sizes or selections of your custom blind order. If you receive your blinds or shades and your measurements are correct and the blind or shade does not fit, we will replace it at no charge to you. But, should you mismeasure, our “Oops Policy” is designed to help and protect you. If you’ve measured your windows incorrectly and the blind or shade doesn’t fit the window, give us a call.Depending on the type of error, you may return the product to the factory for possible alteration or we will have it remade at a discount. Shipping charges for returning the mismeasured product to us is your responsibility but we will pay the shipping costs for the replacement or modified product returned to you.
If a product we sell is not fabricated correctly, it will be replaced or altered at absolutely no charge to you. If there is a defect or any problem with any product you purchase from us we will gladly rectify the problem as quickly as possible. We want you to be happy! This may require that we have another blind or shade made for you, or it may require returning the product for repair. (We will cover the cost of shipping the returned product and reship it back to you.) In either case there will be no charge to you in correcting the problem. All of our products are custom made to your specifications. Our instructions must be followed regarding proper measuring and installation. Custom made products are not returnable for any reason other than defects, warranty repair work or shipping damages. Our measuring directions are to be used as guide, different manufacturers have different specifications. Some may take a 1/4 inch off on an inside mount of their cell shade product, another manufacturer will take 3/8 inch off on an inside mount. Please do not assume, call if you have any “specific” requests or concerns. Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization and must be shipped to BlindsCentral.com in original condition and in its original carton within 30 days of receipt.
All the window coverings we sell are covered by a manufacturers limited lifetime warranty. In the unlikely event that warranty service is ever needed, we will arrange for repair or replacement as quickly as possible. Warranties are provided by our manufacturer to the original purchaser of the product. The manufacturer warrants that all blinds and shades will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, given normal use and provided that the blinds were properly measured and installed on their original window, door or other are in which they were intended. Recommendations must also be followed with regard to size limitations and specifications. Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, accidents, alterations, normal wear and tear, exposure to the elements (including but not limited to exposure to salty air, humidity, discoloration due to sunlight or passage of time) is not covered by this warranty. Slat material used in blinds may contain variations in grain and texture and could appear randomly. Slight variations in color, as well as minimal warping may also occur. These are all naturally occurring tendencies when dealing with faux wood (PVC) and/or wood products and are considered acceptable. Returns for the above mentioned reasons are not warranted. The obligation of the manufacturer in the event of a defect covered under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the blinds, shades or components, at the manufacturer’s option, provided the product is returned to BlindsCentral.com. The manufacturer is not responsible for transportation and/or labor costs involved with returning the product to BlindsCentral.com or reinstallation of the product in the window. This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liabilities or warranties. In no event shall the manufacturer be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential damage or for any other indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Normal production time is between 5 and 9 business days and an additional few days for shipping. It is possible to receive separate shipments if different manufacturers are used.
BlindsCentral.com offers free shipping on all orders for blinds and shades only to the contiguous 48 US states.
Restrictions do apply:
We will ship to Alaska and Hawaii, but additional shipping charges of $55 will apply. We will notify you by either telephone or email to advise you of the added cost before ordering your custom window coverings. A common carrier freight charge of $70.00 is applied to any product (i.e. blinds or shades) that are 104" or greater in width. For Vertical Blinds a common carrier freight charge of $70.00 is applied if the Vertical Blinds are 104" or greater in width and/or height.
The shipping charge applies to verticals when either the width or height is 96 inches or wider. Multiple blinds or shades of the same product are shipped at same time with one freight charge.
Please inspect the delivery as soon as it arrives. If you suspect any damage you may refuse it or make a written statement on the freight bill before accepting shipment. If you later find concealed damage not apparent before opening boxes, please return all packing materials and contact our Customer Service Area for further instructions. We will have our vendor reorder you a new product replacing the damaged shade or blind as soon as we are notified. Your order “cannot” be cancelled because of freight damage, but it will, however be replaced.
